it's been sad.

I like chocolate milk. X)

What's with the stale air of this blog?

My eyes hurts from all that crying.

it's so quiet.

it's cold.

my heart hurts.

Let's go through recent events that's been going on!

#1 It's JUNE!
The holidays are here! And it's back to school soon. Oh wells. Who cares? Enjoy your holidays while you still can!

#2 Sec 4 Step down
Sad. It's just so fast. I can still remember my first day in the council. I just sat there, not talking to anyone. [Yes. I do not always talk.] And then these people come up to me, and start introducing themselves and all. From then on, we all became friends. It's amazing. All the times we've spemt together. Organising events, running around due to certain... last minute screw ups, all the laughs we've shared, the tears we've cried, the sweat we've... sweated. Whatever. That could have been much better. Camps together, nonsense that we put up during camps, and hey, we aren't perfect. Even our little bickers to whole out kabooms verbal slugfests at times. Even when we fought at times, at least we fought together. All those outings, the times we've shared together. Thanks to all the sec 4's for all you've done and taught me. What you see in me couldn't have been possible without you guys. [Nono, not all the "worse" parts, like my absolute blurnessity at times. That's natural for me.] Gee. It hurts me to write this entry. I know it's not like you guys will be gone forever, but... things will never be the same without you guys. I can only wish you guys the best of luck in your 'O's, and if you ever need help, remember. We'll always be there. The whole council will. And we will show you what we can do. We will bring the council to greater heights. That, I promise.

#3 11th Student Leader's Convention
Another sad event. Well, I'm really thankful I was chosen to go for this. Sure, it wasn't the most fun thing that I've ever done. Those debates were really irritating, with all the people who kept stating their stands, and not willing to give way to reach a common consensus. It's sick. All about themselves only, they're the best, blahblahblah. To hell with it. We all want things to go our way, but sometimes, we've got to learn how to give and take. It was boring, to tell you the truth, but hey, i'm a kid who's got the mentality of a 2-year old, and totally do NOT LIKE POLITICS! and yeah, alot of politics was involved too. I learnt alot of things, and i got some award for talking too much. It's amazing, considering I'm the most clueless member of my group. Heck, in the whole region, but then, who's complaining? (X The first day, when I first stepped in, I just sat there and... yeah, kept my mouth shut. Ice breakers, and from there, the X-whatsithingummy. Fun, kinda like an Amazing Race. Coach Stephen was a nice guy, explaining the history of places we went to and occasionally looking the other way for us. And together with group Colombia! Was a blast. Was more blasted when we went back and had a mass water bombing. funn. if it wasn't for 3259084350943870 people trying to stomp me into the ground. Meeting old friends was a bonus. Next day, debate. And more debates. And debates. Same for the next day. End of the days, everyone looked totally beat and stuff like "It's such a total waste of time" and all were said. I admit, I was one of those, but thinking back on it, I really shouldn't have said that. I didn't realise nothing till the last day. After all the performances, how close we were. I didn't deem it possible. I mean, I thought it'd be a bear-with-you-for-4-days kinda thing, but it wasn't. I mean, I'm surprised myself. I cried. Me. Just stood there with tears rolling down my cheeks, and singing the song. You could feel the sadness. Gee. Miss yo guys )=

Anyways, ima done with my ranting. Till the next time,
-why?

Overseas CIP Khao Lak 2005 [what'swiththistitle? =\]

[Foreword: If certain parts seem weird, ignore them. What you're reading was the reflections that I sent in X)]

It’s been an extremely fun, chaos-filled week, but hey, who’s complaining? I remember the countless briefings and doohickeys that we had to sit through, multiple medicines and shots and other bad tasting stuff we had to take to ensure we came back in one piece, car washes in the sun, freaking out over scratches that couldn’t go away on the car doors, sitting at the store and mixing up prices of food, and one helluva lotta more. All just for 6 days, which went past all too fast anyways. Zip, and we’re on the way home. Many people worked really hard, and with briefings at midnight, they more or less became zombies. Just sat there with those blank faces and made funny noises and shuffled around, only to find out they were sick the next day.But did they stop? Noooo. Crazy people, yes, but they lived up to Temaseks’ name. A resilient spirit, and… something else. The important thing’s we did it. [Sorta. We were too young to build the roof of the gazebo, and the rice was blocking the second half of the room. So it ain’t our fault.] It was tiring, standing on the ladder, which wasn’t even stable in the first place, and painting the walls. And the walls. Did I mention all the walls? [I mean, if you sneezed, the ladder would fall and drop you out the window, and you’ll die. Stupid way to go though.] Mixing the concrete with the changkul thingy. [And I thought cement was just powder + water.] And then finding out that there was a CEMENT MIXER BEHIND ALL THAT WHILE. Language was also a big thingy. Tawan and Anavil were overused, and were stoning by the last night we had there. I mean, the only phrase I used properly was, when translated, “I do not speak thai”. Go me. The balloon bending was alright, except that some of them busted the balloons which I had spent the last hour learning how to bend. Right in front of me too. Sleeping was an interesting event, almost like a race. The faster you slept, the less likely you were going to be kept awake by the multitudes of bugs, who seemed to like to shed their wings too. Big creepy ones. And the snoring, my gosh, the loud “sssnnrrRXX”’s and pig grunts. It was baaaaad. Their school’s cool too. Their name should be made into some tongue twister, the Ban Bang Muang School. [Pronounced Bun-Bung-Moo-Wung] Their toilets are of the coolest designs, with high and low and high and low roofs, and toilets that do not flush.Sure, I went there expecting much worse. Like having to catch and bugs to live or something, but food was the last of my problems. Hot, but good. Really interesting. Green curry, and they love rice. <3>

Where's my stomach?

Oui.
[It means 'yes' in french, not 'hi' by the way. I just think it seems like a greeting. 'Oui'.]

[As previously stated in title...]
Man. I so do not like to run. Espacially 2.4km. Under a maximum time of 14.20s. I mean, sure, passing is nothing, but who gives a - bout passing? We want GOLDS! [Congrats to the Choir (hahahaha emo gurls =x) and the dance club (funkeh!) for getting golds in their SYF. And props to the band for their golds with honours. Hurhurhur. Chinese orchestra... Guess they're all fighting for the "+ Honours"] And ima got a D for standing broad jump. 6cm to go! So it'll be retake after retake. My legs still hurt from the run [weak.]

[Carry the aussie kid in.]
My cousin's back from Australia! He got me a new shirt, lil' on the small side, but it's nice. (: And he had his burfday party too. Amusing event, many people came. He's legal to drink, and his friends were over, so yeah. Got pretty drunk. Lose a game, drink a glass or bottle or whatever. Toast to the birthday boy, sit at the adults table. Basically, it was drinks galore. Madness. In the end, he passed out cold in the middle of the road. We had to carry him back in and onto the sofa. And he won't wake. And it's his birthday. But all in all, the BBQ was good, and loads funn.

[And the first in Geography, History, English, Maths, Higher Chinese...]
The list just goes on and on. That's how smart he is. Madness, really. It's just wrong [ima very very jealous, actually.] The costumes were cooool! It cloinks with International Friendship Day, so we had to dress up in costumes and stuff. Overall, everyone was cool. [Woon chian in his blouse. HAHAHAHA X)] Royce hadda cool lookin' one. Musta been hell to wrap it up though. And the most important thing of all, the buffet! It's like a 12 pointer on a 10 point scale compared to the mean 'tween a bun and bottle 'o' plain ol' warm H2O. Anything with chocolates always rocks, and custard too. OOH. Just... Gooood. [Props again to the band, chinese orchestra, dance and choir for the wonderful performances] It was funn, but exhausting, but funn.

[damn.]
It's... amazing how fast time passes. Ima was high on... somethingy. Not important. What matters was what burst it. I mean, do you ever had those times when you wished the day would just end? Those warm afternoons, and someone keeps droning on and on about "y=mx+c"? You just want out, but at the de-brief... Amazing isn't it? How fast everything just flashes beyond your eyes. June Camp. Nice name, but sad event. I mean... the ceremony and all. We'll miss you guys, at least I know I will. Y'all made life in the council worth it. Everything we are now, it's all thanks to yo all. All the laughs we've shared, all the time we've spent. Sure ima never was close to everyone, but... it's just that bond. Even the occasional "Hi" or something, it's all... I dunno. It just means something. You guys ask us if we're alright when we're down, make sure things are alright. Ima really appreciate it. Ima in council not cos ima enjoy working like some crazy - but because ima feel appreciated. Thanks to y'all. C'yo at the camp. [confoozled on expression to put here... hmm...? n_n)

Till the... next time?
Ima goin' before I get cut o-

pop.

ehllo.

Life's cool.

[How do you on the mouse?]
Well, today I finally had a PE lesson after like, 3 weeks? Legs all are jellified. [laziness, hanyang, laziness.] Relatively slothy day, just kinda drifted through lessons like some lost hinkypunk. After that, ima had to attend some training Mrs Tay signed my group up for. Like the talk wasn't boring enuff, like less than half my group appeared. Not that it matters, but still... I just spent the whole 3 hours there complaining that ima hungry with audrey and nicholas and watching Naruto on the laptop on the floor while trying to seem as though I wasn't watching Naruto on a laptop on the floor. All in all, funn day, but... no result I suppose. (: All that lecturer did was talk about the notes, and talk about the notes. Just droned on and on and on and on and... you get the picture.

[I can't speak thai!]
Ima had my interview this morning for the Khao Lak trip, and lucky ol' me just HAD to be paired up with Sam and Jaquelyn. No, here's nothing wrong with them. It's just the part where she asked something like "Can you rough it out?" So Sam goes "Ima Cambodian, ima used to it, lalalas, Jaq goes "NPCC", so she's safe too. Guess who's left? I said something like "I take art lessons, so I can paint walls", or something along those lines. Whateverthehell was I thinking then?! So, so, so doom'd. Ah wells. We'll see how thangs go. X)

Next Week's CA (*&^%$#@. I need to average 50 pages A DAY with like up to a 100 words on each page easily? And the Chinesefied people all seem blurrr'bout the story, and no one is willing to read the story to me every night before I go to bed on the phone, so it's combat reading I guess. Hope Ima make it out alive.

the past week.

ehllo.

it's me again. learn to live with it.

[Holidays are the bestest.]
Ima sucker for holidays. Be it Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Sunday, Anything! To me, a day when I am free-he-he to do anything I want to, or I do not have to see the words "Temasek Secondary School" at like some ungodly hour when even the sun's still sleeping. I mean, what's with early morning events? Is there some unwritten law that makes students wake up at 6am~ish to go to a place that they'll happily start rolling on the floor and bawling if not for their age? I mean.... c'mon, gimme a break. But then again, without a basic education, we won't really be much in Singapore, let's not even talk about Overseas. What's with our education system anyways? We're like, one of the best in the whole world, but people stare at you and go, "What the hell's an 'O' level certificate?" [Note: This does NOT mean that school is useless if you plan to go overseas. Whatever you want to do, just make sure you stay in school, kids.]

[Red, Brown and Black. And it's pain.]
Anyways, enuff whining for now. Let's start from the week. We had a 3 day week, which is definitely good. I was more or less the usual ol' unfocused boy who just wonders when recess or when the bell's going to ring. Thursday, we had Sport's Day. [Didja know that.... doing something that you do not like at 1am for the past 2-3 hours is NOT advisible for one's health. You'll have sudden violent urges and impulses, and wish to hurl something, or even yourself out of the window. It's kinda like techno, but without all the hard work. Burn all of em pom poms, I say, BURN] And after 5 hours sleep, ima was waken by a phone call from Sam telling me he was waiting for me downstairs. So guess who started panicking and rushed to get ready? Not me. [Sam, if you're reading this, do not kill me. At least ima being truthful. But i guess it musta have been cold downstairs, huh?] So after a 10 minute ride, we's arrived at the West Entrance. There must have been like 4389532095 people wandering all over the place, all from the 4 schools. So I just lazed around till the students started to enter the stadium. Royce has her hands full directing em people to their places. And apparently, she encountered the usual numbskulls, who're... numbskulls. At least she handled it well. =[) sweet job. And then, ima was stationed at the gate to make sure no one ran away by taking their ez-link cards, where I lazed 'round somemore. At least there were people to talk to. And it's always good to know we ain't forgotten. Thank gawd for the food. Though it wasn't much, but hey, when you're hungry, you don't really give much of a damn. We, being a really lucky bunch, also had to clean up after the event. Whoopa. [Eh. Ima just realised. Why not the Sports Captains? Peer Support Leaders? Or even the Class Managers?! The acronym for Temasek Student Council has always been TSC, or TMSSC if you're picky, but never, even been CWO.] Anyways, things went well, so cheers to the organising committee [GAH. I still do not know how to spell that word correctly.] We went out after that, 14 of us. Ima lazy to type em all out now though. We wenta yoshinoya for lunch, and then walked 'round the whole dang S'pore cos the cinemas didn't have the show we wanted/didn't have the patience to wait for 2 hours. In the end, we settled for Robots. In Eng Wah cinemas. Ima don't really trust em. I always feel that one day, the screen's gonna drop off or something. I mean, the ceiling looked like it had moss growing on it or something. But it wasn't a bad show, alot of robot humour. I guess i'd have enjoyed it much more if it wasn't for the DAMN AIR-CON THAT WAS SPEWING OUT ICE CUBES. Man, was it cold. So after that, 14 burnt and smelly people went home, after being awake for more that 12 hours on probably 4 hours sleep on something. Btw, ima regret not having known the sec 4's better. I mean, they're like, much cooler than I thought. Royce, Kangsheng, Vicki. We all have our little flaws I suppose, but their coolness waaaaay surpasses that. Hope to know y'all better (= Espacially the guy who's burfday is 9 days before mine. Heck, he's the only guy I mentioned.

[What the hell are you speaking then?!]
So ima decided to go for Khao Lak and not the Pahang camp. Guess ima stupider than I thought, but who cares. Apparently, Ms Lim lied to us. [Lied meaning I didn't pay attention] So now, we've to go through an interview. Chances of us making it are higher if we can speak Thai, but I know like the most useless sentence only, which is "I do not know how to speak thai". So we'll see how thangs go.

[~!@#$%^&*()-+= >:( ]
Aight. The world ain't perfect. Shizt happens. need someone to vent it on? someone who'll listen? help? anythink, you probby are too busy crying anyways. Just call me, or find me. There's too much misery in this damn world anyways, but I try not to let it affect me too much, so as to help others. Just call, be it at 9144842, or just find me. Let it all out. No point bottling it all up. Ima will shut up [Yes, ima capable of that] and listen. Ima will smile too, if possible. (= and you won't owe me a single thing. just glad to help.

[Until the next time, ima signin' out-]

new.

ehllo.

[No point in procrasination. you're just screwing yourself.]
School's going to start again. Gotta start rushing my homework. And I promised myself not to do it at last minute again. I must not fail chinese. Ever again. Simpler said than done though.

["Shorter?" "Why not?"]
Had my haircut today. School's probably gonna do some checking, and ms tang being herself, will probably start poking people out and shizt. Try not to laugh. It's just..... short.

[Don't order more than you can eat.]
That how the saying go? Or somethin' along those lines. (I distinctly remember it having to do with food. Biting, chewing, choking, somethingummywad.) Went out for dinner at Lau Pa Sat. HOLY -. There was some Karaoke shizt going on, and it was like, Whatthef-!-ish. I mean, there was these 2 dancers in the backgrounds, these 2 guys. (I do not have anything against guy dancers, in a way, I'm even envious) They're like.... gay! holy. You musta see it for yourself. But you'll wish you didn't though. And they had these young girls (Young as in primary school kind) in those clothes that just are wrong for their age going up to sing. Their moms must be like those Tiger Beer waitresses or something. And I'm proud to be Singaporean! I mean, there was this pair of Euro-something Ang Mohs in front of me. When they saw the girl go up to sing they were like "Oh My!" Wow. Uniquely Singapore.

[I like nice things. Mostly.}
Here's a poem I found recently. I think it's real meaningful, ya know?

The Road Not TakenBy Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry that I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no steps had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
